‘Allow your greatest weakness to become your strength by making a habit of it so that you no longer fear it.
You can do the same with your fears.
Do the thing you fear over and over again, until you train your brain that it’s no longer something to be feared.
Not only will the fear lose all power over you, but that fear can become the very thing that separates your success from everyone else’s mediocrity.’
Those words are from Darren Hardy.
A little over a year ago, I stood in front of a room full of people and led a nutrition seminar. Even though this was the 4th or 5th seminar I had led, I was still fearful.
I have always had a fear of public speaking. I faced those fears in order to grow as an individual and as a business. Each time I stand in front of a crowd of people, my nerves are present. The gap of time between each seminar leaves me forgetful of just how much excitement and pure joy I get out of teaching.
I truly love what I do and I would have NEVER gotten to this comfortable level in my business if I hadn’t faced my biggest fears.
