Meet Wendy. Wendy was actually born with foot deformities, so she never ran as a child. But after having her issues surgically corrected a few years ago she was determined to start running again! Not only is she running again, but it is now something that she craves and she runs as a means to relax from her stressful work life.

We asked Wendy what keeps her motivated to keep running/training, even on the hard days?
In the beginning, my motivation was just flat out determination. I wanted to be a runner, and there was no way I could do it unless I prioritized it and committed to it come hell or high water. Now that I enjoy it (most days), I don’t want to back slide by slacking. And I’ve learned that no matter how much I don’t feel like running, or don’t enjoy my run, I never, ever regret having gone out for a run. And my legs have never looked better! I thought age had taken me out of the running for nice stems, but running gave them back to me! 🙂
How has working with Jenna improved your health and what challenges did she help you solve?
Jenna taught me how to fuel myself properly. I’ve been on a macro eating plan for over a year now, and it makes a bigger difference in my day-to-day life and exercise than any other single factor. I’m less fatigued overall which helps me have the energy to follow through with a run, yoga, or whatever it is I’m doing on a particular day. It also helps keep fat at bay and muscle on, which helps me power through everything and improve quickly.
Working with Jenna truly changed my life, and I am forever thankful for that.
